Westinghouse Digital Electronics announced its new LCD HDTV, model LTV-37w2, featuring an integrated ATSC tuner to display over-the-air high-definition digital signals, the company’s innovative SpineDesign, and five HD input connectors. (Fotograph of LVM 37w1)The Westinghouse SpineDesign offers easy access from both sides of the TV “spine” for all of the video source connections offered, including DVD players, personal computers, Windows Media Center Edition, gaming consoles, satellite and cable boxes, and more, eliminating cable clutter and keeping cables from view. SpineDesign also incorporates a single board to shorten the signal path from video sources to the screen for outstanding picture quality.
The LTV-37w2 features a stylish black chassis with silver trim and a thin, wall-mountable frame with a detachable pedestal. With more than one million pixels and a 16:9 wide aspect ratio, the 37-inch model is ideal for viewing HD content. Measuring just 4.8 inches deep and weighing 48 pounds, the TV can also be easily mounted onto a wall.
The LTV-37w2 is available at estimated retail prices of $1,699 (EUR 1.400). Note: Westinghouse Digital is only sold in the U.S.
